What is the cut-off time for same-day wire transfers?

Last updated: April 10, 2026

The cut-off time for same-day outgoing domestic wire transfers on Meow is 4:00 PM Eastern Time on business days.

Wires submitted before 4:00 PM ET on a business day will be sent the same day. Wires submitted after 4:00 PM ET, or on weekends and federal banking holidays, will be processed on the next business day.

What about incoming wires?

Incoming domestic wires are typically posted to your Meow account the same business day they are received, provided they arrive before your banking partner's processing cutoff. Once funds post, they appear in your available balance automatically.

Can I schedule a wire for a future date?

Yes. Meow supports future-dated and recurring wire transfers. If you know you'll need to send a wire on a specific date, you can schedule it in advance from the Move Money section of your dashboard. See How to Schedule or Edit Future and Recurring ACH or Wire Transfers for instructions.

Can I send a wire before the funds arrive in my account?

No. Funds must be available in your Meow balance before an outgoing wire can be sent. You cannot send a wire against pending or expected incoming funds. However, once the incoming wire posts, you can immediately initiate or schedule the outgoing wire.

Are there cut-off times for international wires?

International wire cut-off times may vary depending on the destination country and currency. Contact support at support@meow.com if you have a time-sensitive international wire and need guidance on timing.

Is the 4:00 PM ET cut-off time negotiable?

No. This cut-off is set by our banking partners and the Federal Reserve's wire processing schedule — it cannot be extended or bypassed.
