How do I remove a team member or revoke account access?

Admins can remove team members from a Meow account at any time. Removing a team member immediately revokes their login access and deactivates any cards issued in their name.
How to remove a team member
Go to the Team section in the bottom-left of your Meow dashboard.
Find the team member you want to remove.
Click on their name or the options menu next to their profile.
Select Remove or Revoke access.
Their access is revoked immediately.
What happens to their cards when they're removed?
Any cards issued specifically in that team member's name will be deactivated when they are removed. If you want to preserve any of those cards or transfer them, contact support at support@meow.com before removing the team member.
What happens to their pending transactions?
Transactions that were already authorized before the card was deactivated may still process and settle. New transactions will be declined.
Can a removed team member be re-invited?
Yes. You can re-invite a former team member at any time by going to Team > Invite User and entering their email address.
What if I just want to temporarily suspend access?
There is no built-in way to temporarily suspend a team member's login access without removing them. However, you can freeze any cards associated with their account as a temporary measure. See How do I freeze or unfreeze a Meow card? for instructions.
