How do I change my email address?

You may need to update the email address associated with your Meow account due to company rebranding, email changes, or other business reasons. For security purposes, Meow does not allow direct email address changes and requires you to add a new email address and remove the old one.

To change the email address associated with your account, you'll need to invite the new email address as a user and then remove the old one. Here's how:

  1. Log in to your Meow account with your current email address

  2. Go to the Users Settings page: https://app.meow.com/settings/users

  3. Click on the "Add User" or "Invite User" button

  4. Enter the new email address you want to use

  5. Complete the invitation process for the new email address

  6. Check your new email inbox for the invitation and accept it

  7. Complete any required verification steps (you may need to go through KYC verification again since this is treated as a new email)

  8. Once the new email is added and verified, log in with your new email address

  9. Navigate to the team section and remove access from your old email address

Important Notes:

  • Only admin users can add or remove email addresses from accounts

  • You may need to complete verification steps again with the new email address

  • If you have multiple entities, you'll need to update the email for each one separately to maintain access to the dropdown menu

  • Cards tied to your old email may require reissuance
