Updating the Beneficiary Address on ACH/Wire Instructions

Last updated: December 8, 2025

Overview

Some customers may notice that the beneficiary address shown on their ACH/wire instructions differs from their registered company address. This discrepancy can raise questions about compliance, professionalism, or documentation requirements. This article explains why this occurs and what customers can expect.

Why a Personal Address May Appear

Our banking partner requires a physical residential address to be displayed on wire instructions. This requirement applies even when the account belongs to a company. In many cases, this results in the address of a company director or authorized individual appearing as the beneficiary address.

This is a compliance requirement from the bank and cannot be modified to show an alternate address, including a company’s registered office address.

Can the Beneficiary Address Be Updated?

At this time, the beneficiary address cannot be changed to a company’s registered address. The banking partner mandates the use of a physical residential address for verification and compliance purposes.

If the residential address of the authorized individual has changed or needs updating, please contact our support team and we can assist with submitting an update request to our banking partner.

What Customers Should Know

  • This display is normal and expected for accounts of this type.

  • It does not affect the legitimacy, compliance standing, or functionality of the account.

  • Payments will continue to process correctly with the address provided.
