What blockchain networks does Meow support for stablecoin transfers?
Last updated: April 13, 2026
Meow supports sending and receiving USDC on the following blockchain networks:
Ethereum (ERC-20)
Solana
Base (Coinbase's Ethereum L2)
Which network should I use?
The right network depends on your counterparty's preference and wallet support:
Ethereum is the most universally supported network. Nearly every wallet and exchange accepts ERC-20 USDC. Transaction costs (gas fees) on Ethereum can vary, though Meow does not charge separately for network fees.
Solana offers very fast settlement and is popular in crypto-native contexts. Ideal for counterparties operating on Solana-native platforms.
Base is increasingly popular and offers fast, low-cost transactions within the Ethereum ecosystem.
What happens if I send to the wrong network?
This is a critical point: sending USDC on the wrong network can result in permanent loss of funds. If a recipient's wallet doesn't support the network you sent on, the funds may be unrecoverable. Always confirm the recipient's supported network before sending.
Can I receive USDC from any network?
Yes — Meow can receive USDC on Ethereum, Solana, and Base. When sharing your Meow USDC deposit address, make sure to specify which network the sender should use.
What about other networks like Polygon or Arbitrum?
Currently, Meow supports Ethereum, Solana, and Base. Transfers on other networks are not supported and should not be initiated to your Meow USDC address.
