How to Close Your Account

When you need to close your account with us, here's what you need to know:

Before Requesting Closure

  1. Withdraw any remaining funds from your checking account

  2. Ensure any pending transactions have cleared

  3. If you have a brokerage account, work with support to ensure proper closure of investment positions

Requesting Account Closure

Contact our support team to request account closure. You can do this by:

  • Sending a message through the support chat

  • Emailing support directly at support@meow.com

Account Closure Process

Once requested, our team will:

  1. Verify the account has a zero balance

  2. Close any associated checking accounts

  3. If applicable, coordinate with our brokerage partners to close investment accounts

  4. Confirm closure once complete

If you have a brokerage account, the closure process may take a few additional business days to complete as we coordinate with our partners.

Additional Steps

After closure:

  • Save any statements or documents you may need for your records

  • Cancel any recurring transfers or payments set up through the account

  • Remove the account from any integrated services or apps
