How do I export or download my transaction history?

Meow lets you download your full transaction history directly from your dashboard, in formats compatible with accounting software and spreadsheet tools.
How to export transactions
Log in to your Meow dashboard and select the account you want to export from.
Navigate to the Transactions section.
Use the date filter to select the time range you want to export.
Select Export or Download and choose your preferred format (CSV or PDF, depending on availability).
What file formats are available?
Transaction exports are available in CSV format, which can be opened in Excel, Google Sheets, or imported directly into accounting platforms like QuickBooks, Xero, or Puzzle.
Can I export transactions for a specific date range?
Yes. Use the date filter in the Transactions section to narrow the export to a specific period — by month, quarter, or custom date range.
Can I search transactions by amount or keyword?
You can filter and search transactions in your dashboard. If you're looking for a specific transaction, use the search bar at the top of the Transactions section. Note that searching by exact dollar amount may have limitations depending on how the amount was entered — if you're having trouble locating a specific transaction, contact support at support@meow.com.
Can I get a formatted PDF statement instead?
Yes. Monthly account statements in PDF format are available from the Statements section of your Meow dashboard. These are formatted as official bank statements and are suitable for audit, lending, or compliance purposes.
Can I export transactions for multiple accounts at once?
Transaction exports are currently per-account. If you manage multiple accounts or entities, you'll need to export each one separately. If you need consolidated reporting across accounts, accounting integrations like QuickBooks, Xero, or Puzzle can aggregate transaction data from all connected accounts automatically.
