Connecting Business Checking to Xero

Meow Technologies is a financial technology company, not a bank or FDIC-insured depository institution.

Follow these steps to connect Checking to your Xero account for transaction categorization

  1. Sign in to Xero

  2. On the top left click "Accounting"

  3. Then click "Bank Accounts" on the Accounting dropdown

  4. Click "Add Bank Account"

  5. Search for "Meow" which will be listed as Meow (US). Please note the country is automatically selected, there is no need to click the filter button (Meow Technologies is a financial technology company, not a bank).

  6. Once you agree to the terms of service, you will be prompted to enter your Meow credentials.

  7. Select a sync-from date

  8. Once you click Connect, transactions will start automatically syncing right away and begin appearing in your feed, where you'll be able to manually categorize them.
