Are all entity types guaranteed to be approved?
No. Approval is not guaranteed for any entity type. All applications go through a review process that includes KYC (identity verification) and KYB (business verification). Some entity types, industries, or structures may require additional documentation or Enhanced Due Diligence. A small number of applications may be declined based on compliance review.
What documents are typically required?
Documentation requirements vary by entity type. Common requirements include:
Formation documents (Articles of Incorporation, LLC Operating Agreement, LP Agreement, etc.)
EIN confirmation letter
Proof of business address
Government-issued ID for owners and beneficial owners
Ownership and beneficial ownership information
For non-U.S. entities, additional documentation is typically required. See Document requirements for non-US business verification during onboarding.
