USDC Transfer Processing Times and Banking Hours
Last updated: January 9, 2026
USDC transfers are subject to banking hours and holidays, which can affect processing times depending on where your funds are held.
How Banking Hours Affect USDC Transfers
If your balance is held in USD in your Business Checking account, transfers will be subject to traditional banking hours and holidays. This means:
Transfers do not process over weekends
Bank holidays will delay processing
Funds need to be wired to Bridge during banking hours (approximately 9am-4pm ET, Monday-Friday) before conversion to USDC
Converting USD to USDC
You can transfer funds from your Business Checking account to USDC directly within the platform:
Click "Transfer between checking"
Complete the transfer from USD to USDC
Note that this transfer will still be subject to banking hours if your funds are currently in USD.
Converting USDC to USD
USDC to USD transfers back to your Business Checking account follow the same banking hour restrictions:
Transfers initiated during banking hours (approximately 9am-4pm ET, Monday-Friday) typically settle the same business day or within a few hours
Transfers initiated after hours, over weekends, or on holidays will process on the next business day
Managing Transfer Timing
For immediate access to USDC transfers without banking hour restrictions, consider maintaining balances in both your USD Business Checking account and your USDC account. This way, you'll have funds readily available in USDC for transfers that need to process outside of traditional banking hours. Keep in mind that converting back from USDC to USD will still be subject to the same banking hour restrictions.
