User Roles

Designate defined user roles for each user on your Meow account.

Meow Technologies is a financial technology company, not a bank. Banking services are provided by FirstBank, a Tennessee corporation, and by Grasshopper Bank, N.A. and Third Coast Bank SSB; Members FDIC.

User Roles Overview

To invite a user to an existing account, click settings in the top right corner of the Meow dashboard then users. At the bottom of the page you can invite a user if you are an existing admin. The same email address can be used for multiple accounts to setup multi entity. Once the invite has been sent, you will receive an email. After the invite has been accepted the email address is now active under that account.

1. Admin

Admin roles are the super-users of Meow. Allows the user to view all data in an account, add users, send transactions, purchase T-Bills and otherwise make modifications to an account.

  1. Moving money.

  2. Purchase T-Bills with a U.S. Treasury account.

  3. View all data

  4. Integrate Meow account data with accounting software

  5. Add users and update their permission levels

2. Controller

Allows the user to view all data in an account, manage funds, send transactions and purchase T-Bills.

  1. Moving money.

  2. Purchase T-Bills with a U.S. Treasury account.

  3. View all data

  4. Integrate Meow account data with accounting software

3. Bookkeeper

Allows the user to view balances, transaction history, users on the account and all other data in the application. Users with the Bookkeeper role may manage connections to accounting software such as quickbooks but do not have the ability to send transactions, purchase T-bills or make any other changes to an account.

4. Viewer

Allows the user to view balances, transaction history, users on the account and all other data in the application. Users with the Viewer role do not have the ability to send transactions, purchase T-bills or make any other changes on an account.
